HomeMy WebLinkAboutNB 1 SURVEY VEHICLE 11-15-82 AGE ]DA 11-15-82 / Inter-Corn FROM: SUSJ ECT: WILLIAM HUSTON, CITY MANAGER BOB LEDENDECKER, DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS/CITY ENGINEER AWARD OF BID - ENGINEERING DIVISION SURVEY VEHICLE RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the Tustin City Council, at their meeting of November 15, 1982, award the bid in the amount of $13,134.57 to Skelley Latzer & Co./Deanza Chevrolet for the purchase of a 1983 Chevrolet Suburban Wagon. BACKGROUND: Bids were solicited to eight (8) firms for a replacement vehicle which is utilized by the Engineering Division as a survey vehicle. The vehicle being replaced is a 1970 Plymouth station wagon. DISCUSSION: Bids were received from three (3) firms for a 1983 Chevrolet or G.M,C. Suburban Wagon with a diesel engine and 3-speed automatic transmission.
