RECOMMENDATION:
That the Tustin City Council, at their meeting of December 6, 1982, award the bid
for the Annual Pavement Marking Program to J. and S. Sign Co. of Orange in the
amount of $21,972.80.
BACKGROUND:
The City contracts annually for its pavement marking program which consists of all
street striping and some specialized markings such as crosswalks, legends, etc.
The specialized markings are normally handled by City crews, but due to excessive
workloads at certain times of the year, these items are sometimes included within
our annual contract.
DISCUSSION:
Bids were solicited and opened on November 24, 1982 and are tabulated as follows:
