SUBJECT: STOP SIGN INSTALLATION - SYCAMORE AVE. AT CAR_FAX AVE.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the Tustin City Council at their meeting of December 19, 1983 pass and adopt
the attached resolution designating the placement of stop signs on Sycamore Avenue
at Carfax Avenue.
BACKGROUND:
At their meeting of December 5, 1983 the Tustin City Concil, at the request of a
Tustin area resident, approved the installation of stop sign control on Sycamore
Avenue at Carfax Avenue.
DISCUSSION:
The attached resolution designates the placement of stop signs on'Sycamore Avenue
at Carfax Avenue for both directions. The adoption of this resolution is
necessary to provide for traffic enforcement on these signs.
As directed by the Council, the installation of said signs will take place on or
about December 19th, the first day of school vacation.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA
DESIGNATING PLACEMENT OF CERTAIN STOP SIGNS
The City Council of the City of Tustin, California does resolve es
follows:
Stop signs for southeast bound and northwest' bound Sycamore Avenue at
Carfax Avenue are hereby designated as authorized stop signs in the City
of Tustin.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
