ING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TUSTIN,
CALIFORNIA, HELD ON SATURDAY, APRIL
25, 1953, AT 9:45 A. M., AT THE
CITY HALL
COUNCILMEN PRESENT: Vincent L. Humeston, Jerome C. Kidd, Frank
E. Bacon, Jr., and Wintford L. Tadlock.
COUNCILMEN ABSENT: None
CITY ATTORNEY: C. Arthur Nisson, Jr., was present.
Mayor Humeston called this regular adjourned meeting to
order at 9:45 A. M.
Reading of the minutes of the previous meeting were dis-
pensed with.
ARTHUR O. The question of paying the sum of $100.00 for assessing
PARK TO BE of property within the City of Tustin for the tax year
PAID $100,00 1953-54 was considered, and upon motion duly made, sec-
FOR ASSESSING onded and carried, the offer of Arthur O. Park to do the
assessing work for the City of Tustin for the fiscal year
1953-54 for the sum of $100.00 was accepted, and said
amount was ordered to be paid for said assessing work.
ARTHUR O. The question of filling the vacancy on the City Council
PARK AP- occasionled by the resignation of William I. Miller was
POINTED discussed, and upon motion duly made, seconded and car-
CITY ried, Resolution No. 337 entitled "A Resolution of the
COUNCILMAN City Council of the City of Tustin Appointing Arthur O.
Park as City Councilman to Fill the Unexpired Term of .
Councilman William I. Miller, Resigned was passed and
adopted. All members voted in favor of the Resolution.
City Engineer, John L. McBride was present, and after
discussion, on motion duly made, seconded and carried,
Engineer McBride was authorized to have the alley North
of Second Street, between "D" and "C" Streets, put to
proper grade at the City' s expense in connection with
the paving of the alley to be done at the property
owners' expense in accordance with their quotation
from Hardy & Harper.
It was moved by Councilman Bacon, seconded by Council-
man Kidd that the meeting be adjourned. Motion carried.
