RECOMMENDATION:
That the Tustin City Council, at their meeting of November 7, 1983, adopt the
attached resolution approving lot line adjustment No. 83-1.
BACKGROUND:
Mr. & Mrs. Bruce McLean and Mr. & Mrs. James Reeves requesting a lot line
adjustment between their two parcels located at 17392 and 17402 Village Drive,
respectively. This requested adjustment will transfer a 363 sq. ft. triangular
shaped parcel from the Reeves to the McLeans.
DISCUSSION:
This lot lin~ adjustment process is provided for in section 66412 (d) of the
subdivision map act wherein the act makes provisions for the local agency to
approve lot line adjustments where the land taken from one parcel is added to an
adjacent parcel and where a greater number of parcels than originally existed is
not thereby created.
The attached documents, consisting of a resolution and three sheets of an
application for lot line adjustment, will provide this adjustment once the
resolution has been adopted by Council, the application approved by staff, and
when all the documents have been recorded by the County Recorder's office. This
process and these documents have been reviewed and approved by the City Attorney's
office.
This application has been reviewed by both the Community Development Department
and the Engineering Division and all proposed adjustments have been found to be in
compliance with all zoning and setback requirements of the City and the provisions
of the California Subdivision Map.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN,
CALIFORNIA, APPRDVlNG LOT LINE ADJUSTMENT NO; 83-3

WHEREAS, Section 66412 (d) of the Subdivision Map Act makes
provisions for the local agency to approve lot line adjustments where the
land taken from one parcel is added to an adjacent parcel and where a greater
number of parcels than originally existed is not thereby created; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tustin has reviewed Lot
Line Adjustment No. 83-3 and has made a finding that the real property
described in Exhibit A and shown on Exhibit B complies with the provisions of
the California Subdivision Map Act and applicable City of Tustin ordinances
and regulations including the requirements for building sites; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tustin has made the
following findings:
1. That the proposal is eligible for processing as a lot line
adjustment pursuant to Section 6641Z of the Subdivision Act;
That the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act
have been met;
3. That the proposal is consistent with the General Plan; and
4. That the resultant parcels will meet the requirements of the Zoning
Code;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the proposed Lot Line Adjustment
No. 83-3 as shown on Exhibits A and B is hereby approved and that the
parcels be considered building sites upon recordation of this document.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Tustin, California, held on the day of , 1983.
