COUNCIL OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA,
HELD ON MONDAY EVENING, NOVEMBER
17, 1952, AT 7:20 P. M. AT THE
CITY HALL
COUNCILMEN PRESENT: Vincent L. Humeston, William I. Miller,
Frank E. Bacon, Jr.
COUNCILMAN ABSENT: None
CITY ATTORNEY: C. Arthur Nisson, Jr., was present.
Mayor Humeston called the meeting to order at 7:40 P. M.
Minutes of the Adjourned Regular Meeting of November 10,
1952, were read and approved after a change was made in
Paragraph 18 in which it is now stated that "all orange
trees within the street right of way be removed" rela-
tive to Dream Homes, Inc., developement within Block D,
Bundy's Assition.
Vice Commander Miller stated that he and City Attorney
Nisson plan on a meeting with Colonel E. L. Creager in
the near future in regard to his acceptance of the po-
sition of Local Commander of Civil Defense.
LOUIS Mayor Humeston brought up the matter of the appointment
TADLOCK of a successor to fill the position of Councilman Wil-
APPOINTED liam H. Gray resigned. Councilman Miller moved that
COUNCILMAN Resolution No. 324, appointing Louis Tadlock, of 135
Myrtle Avenue, Tustin, to fill Mr. Gray's term expiring
in April, 1956, be adopted. Seconded by Councilman Bacon
the motion duly carried.
Councilman Bacon agreed to act as temporary Fire Com-
missioner, made vacant by Councilman Gray's resignation,
until a successor is appointed.
COUNCILMAN On motion of Councilman Miller, seconded by Councilman
TADLOCK Bacon and carried, Councilman Tadlock was appointed to
APPOINTED fill the vacancy on the Tustin Planning Commission
TO PLANNING created by the resignation of Councilman Gray.
COMMISSION
Councilman Bacon suggested the purchase of a Chain Saw
by the City to facilitate the removal of fallen trees,
limbs, etc. Councilman Miller volunteered to check
prices on this type of saw and report at a later meet-
ing
BILLS The following bills were presented, approved and or-
dered paid on motion of Councilman Miller, seconded by
Councilman Bacon and duly carried.

Councilman Miller moved to adjourn. Councilman Bacon
seconded the motion. Motion carried.
