DEPARTlqE~ PROJECT STATUS - WEEK OF AUGUST 1, 1983
This report is intended to inform the Council and Commission of Community
Development Department projects and their processing or construction status.
Should any member of the Council'or Commission desire further information,
please contact me at your convenience.
Staff is swiftly proceeding with the environmental review of a 161-unit
residential condominium project at the end of Newport Avenue. This project
is expected to be presented to the Planning Commission within 60 days.
A proposal for a 52-unit motel has been submitted for preliminary review.
The site is across the street from Tustin High School on Laguna Road.
A public hearing application has been submitted for an expansion of the
convalescent hospital facility at the northerly terminus of Myrtle Street.
Construction permits have been issued for ten residential townhouses on Holt
Avenue, northerly of Irvine Boulevard, Tract No. i1586.
The Marie Callendini's expansion is in its second phase of plan check·
Prelimina~ plans have been re-submitted for the previously approved
five-unit townhome project on Holt avenue, north of Plaza Way. The previous
Planning Agency action has expired.
