ON-STREET PARKING - YORBA ST.
On Tuesday, June 7, 1983, staff met with the residents of the north Yorba St. area
and the owners/representatives of the office buildings on the westerly side of
Yorba St. in.the vicinity of Vandenberg Lane to discuss the requested on-street
parking.
As a result of this meeting, staff was to investi'gate the following:
1. Review each office parking lot for the feasibility of reducing landscaped
areas and increasing parking spaces.
Review potential sites within the near vicinity of the office buildings
that could be leased for parking and compile a list of owners/addresses
of such sites.
3. Investigate the feasibility of the use of parking lift structures or a
parking structure.
4. Review all street intersections along Yorba St. between Vandenberg Lane
and Irvine Blvd. with respect to clear zones for visibility.
At this time, due to the current workloads and the limited number of staff
available, these investigations have not been completed. It is anticipated that
this work can be ready for the July 18, 1983 Council meeting.
A copy of this memo will be sent to all attendees of the June 7th meeting.
