HomeMy WebLinkAboutRDA MINUTES 06-20-831, CALL TO ORDER MINUTES OF A REGULAR I~ETING OF THE REDEVELOPI~!NT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA June 6, 1983 The meeting was called to order by Chairman Hoesterey at 7:35 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 300 Centennial Way, Tustin, California, following a meeting of the City Council. 2. Kenneth Fleagle, Planning Consultant Approximately 10 in the audience 3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES It was moved by Kennedy, seconded by Edgar, to approve the minutes of the May 16, 1983, meeting. Carried 5-0. 4. APPROVAL OF DEHAHDS It was moved by Kennedy, seconded by Edgar, to approve General.Demands in the amount of $818,383.03 for April, 1983, and $33,435,25 for May, 1983, as recommended by the Director of Finance. Motion carried 5-0. 81 5. EXPENDITURE PLAN FOR 1982 TAX ALLOCATION BOND ISSUE The Executive Director presented the staff report and recommendation as contained in his inter-com dated June 1, 1983. Council will set a work- shop for the matter in late-July or early-August, 1983. 6. OTHER BUSINESS - COUNCILMAN GREINKE Councilman Greinke expressed concerns regarding gangs and graffiti in Tustin. He reported that Tustin Lions Club has volunteered to paint out graffiti and they will be present at the next Council meeting to explain their program. Councilman Greinke complained about large numbers of residents in R-1 housing and asked staff to look into this and see if the Code can be changed to regulate same. In addition, Councilman Greinke asked staff to look into imposing a busi- ness license fee on rentals of single-family houses.
