SUBJE:T: MASTER PLAN OF PARKS AND RECREATION
Attached please find the draft of the Parks and Recreation Master Plan. This
document is a result of over a year's work by the Citizens Committee, consultants,
and staff. This will be presented to you Monday, May 16, 4:00 p.m., at the
Study Session previously scheduled. Please be assured that we do not expect you
to read the document prior.to Monday! The purpose of the presentation Monday
is to highlight the salient points in the document in order that you can become
more familiar with it.
Staff reminds Council that Monday is a study session and no decisions or
recommendations will be made at that time. This is a presentation to "walk you
through the plan." Formal Council consideration will occur at a later date
after Council has had adequate time to review the plan in detail.
