A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUSTIN, CONFIRMING THE APPLICATION OF THE MASTER
PROPERTY TAX TRANSFER AGREEMENT FOR THE ANNEXATION
OF DEVELOPED PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF TUSTIN
WHEREAS, A MASTER PROPERTY TAX TRANSFER AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
COUNTY OF ORANGE AND THE CITY OF TUSTIN TO PROVIDE FOR PROPERTY TAX
EXCHANGE IN AREAS ANNEXED BY THE CITY dated October 28, 1980, has
been executed by the Board of Supervisors of Orange County and the
City Council of the City of Tustin providing for division of
property taxes pursuant to Section 99(d) of the Revenue and Taxation
Code of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 81-124 on
November 11, 1981 determined that the Master Property Tax Transfer
Agreement was applicable to the proposed Newport/Vanderlip
Annexation No. 129 to the City of Tustin.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Tustin that the determination as contained in City Council
Resolution No. 81-124 and County Board of Supervisors Resolution
No. 81-1740 is re-confirmed whereby the MASTER PROPERTY TAX TRANSFER
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF ORANGE AND THE CITY OF TUSTIN TO
PROVIDE FOR PROPERTY TAX EXCHANGE IN AREAS ANNEXED BY THE CITY
providing for the allocation of property tax revenues, as approved
by the Board of Supervisors and the City Council and entered into on
November 18, 1980, shall be~pplicable to the territory within the
proposed Newport/Vanderlip Annexation No. 129 to the City of Tustin'
as developed property.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of Tustin on the day of , 1983.
