SALE OF SURPLUS VEHICLES AND EQUIPMENT
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Tustin City Council, at their meeting of February 22,
1983, declare the ten passenger vehicles and three pieces of equipment, as
outlined below, as surplus property that is not required for public use.
BACKGROUND:
The City routinely replaces vehicles on an as-needed basis based upon either
mileage or condition/age of the vehicle. Section 1626a(2) of Ordinance No. 871
requires that the City Council find that any properties to be disposed of be
declared as a surplus and that they are not required for public use.
DISCUSSION:
Following is a list of surplus vehicles and equipment from .various departments
with their estimated values:

Angeles area for public auction.
