STATUS REPORT CN THE I-5/55 Ilv£p~IANGE PRO~ECT
(FILE 9896)
On December 14, 1981 at the Orange County Transportation Cu,u~.~ssiom (O.C.T.C.)
meeting, Caltrans made a presentation of .the alternatives being considered for the
subject project as they were outlined at the envirorm~ntal scoping meeting at the
City of Tustin.
The O.C.T.C. was concerned that the alternative for ultimate reconstruction of the
interduange was not being considered for inclusion in the draft E.I.R. They
indicated that the investigation of this alternative with respect to cost,
c~,munity impacts and feasibility should be considered and c~,~ared to the other
alternatives sudu as no project, or partial interduange modification.
As a result of the O.C.T.C. action on 12-14-81, it appears that Caltrans will be
including the ultimate interduange nDdification as an alternative for consideraion
in the draft E.I.R.
