HomeMy WebLinkAboutNB 5a SITE PLAN RVW 12-07-81DATE: TO: FROM: SUBJECT: December 7, 1981 NEW BUSINESS NO. 5 Inter-Corn Honorable Chairman and Planning Agency Members Community Development Department Site Plan Review Location: 14811 Yorba Street BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION The Community Development Department has received construction plans for an addition to the Maurer Office Complex at the southeast corner of Irvine Blvd. and Yorba Street. This complex was initially approved in 1977 by the approval of the following: a) EIR 77-1 b) Zone Change 77-2 Of concern at that time was the preservation of the existing house and of as much of the surrounding plant material as possible. In October 1980 the owner asked for and was granted special consideration by the PLanning Agency (formal finding) for parking requirements for employee recreational areas. The proposed site plan and the architectural style of the addition does conform to the overall theme of the existing office and site. Staff has informed the architect that specimen trees would be required to mitigate the loss of any mature trees due to construction.
