BACKGRO3ND: Subject project encompasses replacement of the deteriorating asphalt concrete berm curb which separates the sidewalk from the Newport Bike Trail be~--~n Main St. and Irvine Blvd. The exist, curb will be replaced with an 8" high Portland cement u~crete curb. Bids for subject project were opened on Nov. 25, 1981 at 9:00 AM and were received as follows: C~n~CTCR Alfredo's Excavating & Paving Const. There is presently $22,000.00 in RDA Funds allocated for this work. Attached for the City Council's information is a tabulation of all bids received. DALE A.
