That the Tustin City Council, at their meeting of December 7, 1981, award the bid
to Ch~n Bros. Window Tinting and Shades of Westminster in the amount of
$6,112.94 for the installation of window blinds and tinting in the Clifton C.
Miller C~,,~nity Building. It is further re~,~,ended that the color of the blinds
be Desert Sand and the window tinting be a dark smoke color.

Bids were solicitated for the installation of vertical type blinds and the
sunscreening/tinting of windows within the Clifton C. Miller C~,;;;unity Center and
were received as follows:
Chapman Bros. Window Tinting and Shades, Westminster
Draperies by Mr. John, Santa Ana
Designed Custom Interior Syst~as, Orange

The vertical type blinds would extend from the floor to an approximate height of
14 feet, about the same height of the existing drapes, except on the doorways.
The sunscreening or tinting of the windows would extend from the top of the blinds
to the roof and on ead~ of the doors. It is suggested that the color of the
vertical blinds be Desert Sand and the window tinting be a dark smoke color.
Samples of these colors will be available at the City Council meeting.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
These are budgeted items within the 1981-82 budget in a total amount of $7,000.00.
