SUB,IECT: AWARD OF BID FOR POLICE VEHICLE
RECOMMENDATION:
That the Tustin City Council, at their meeting of November 16,
1981, award the bid for a 1982 Ford E100 1/2 ton van to Villa
Ford of Orange in the amount of $8,953.66.
BACKGROUND:
Bids were solicited for a 1/2 ton van type vehicle to replace the
1968 International Carry-all vehicle being utilized by the Police
Department and are tabulated as follows:
Villa Ford, Orange .
Santa Aha Ford, Santa Ana. .
Guaranty Chevrolet, Santa Ana.
Bill Corwin Ford, Orange .
$8,953.66

This vehicle was scheduled for replacement within the 1981-82
fiscal year.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
This vehicle purchase will be funded by the Equipment/Vehicle
Leasing Fund and will have no direct impact to the 1981-82 budget.
