WORKS OF IMPROVEMENT AND AUTHORIZING RECORDATION OF NOTICE OF
COMPLETION (City Hall and Police Department Heating and Air
Conditioning Systems)
Adoption of Resolution No. 81-114 and if no claims or stop payment
notices are filed within 30 days of the date of recordation of the
Notice of Completion, authorize the release of the bond that has
been posted in the amount of $59,575.00 as recommended by .the
Community Development Department.

Contingent upon Planning Agency approval of an extension for Use
Permit 80-21, staff recommends that Council grant a concurrent
extension for Tentative Tract Map No. 11336.

OF THE CITY
Authorize an appraisal of the City Water System and approve the
expenditure of $15,000 from the Engineering Study adopted in the
1981-82 Water Capital Improvement Budget and authorize a physical
inventory of the general fixed assets of the City and appropriate
$6,000 from the unappropriated reserves of the general fund for
this purpose.

Adopt the following policy with regard to the noticing of public
hearings concerning a zoning permit or rezoning of property:
1. All property owners within 500 feet of the affected property
will receive written notice of the public hearing a minim~u of 10
days before the scheduled date of the hearing. Notices will also
be conspicuously posted within the affected area.
2. Applicants for zoning permits or rezoning which require a
public hearing will provide, at the applicant's expense, a list of
the property owners prepared by a title company.
