CONSENT FOR SALE OF PROPERTY AP 401-282-10 (10' x 161' strip of land
at the NE corner of Holt and Irvine)
BACKGROUND:
Attached is a letter from the County of Orange regarding the sale of
subject property. Bob Ledendecker, City Engineer, said that staff
has no interest in or objections to the sale of this property.
RECOMMENDATION:
Consent to the sale of subject property.

MINIMUM BID - $500.
Enclosed is a copy of Minutes of the Board of Supervisors approving
the sale of certain tax deeded property in the City of Tustin. This
is sent to you to comply with Section 3700 of the Revenue and 'Taxation
Code.
We would like to know by September 30th if you consent to this sale.
If you object you may purchase for the amount of the minimum bid shown
above.
Please be on notice that the terms of agreement for purchase include
the following: that for 10 years following the date of purchase the
City will not offer said property for re-sale; that within 10 years
from the date of purchase the City will devote said property to the
public purpose for which they acquired it; that in the event the City
fails to devote said property to the stated public purpose within 10
years, or the City attempts to sell the property for any reason, the
terms of the agreement and the deed will automatically revert the
property from the ownership of the City to the ownership of the State
of California.
