The attaahed correspondence frcm Grissc~ and Johnson, Inc. requests an additional
time extension to the subject contract.
On May 18, 1981, the city Council granted a 30 day extension to this contract. Since
that time, there has been a delay of installing the four new services that were set
by the Edison Co. The dichondra sod delivezy date for late May was rescheduled due
to the lack of water availabililty caused by no electrical power.
A new deli~ry date for the diduondra sod has been rescheduled for mid-July. The
contractor's second time extension request (50 days) would set the u~,~letion date at
July 22, 1981.

That the Tustin City Council, at their meeting of July 6, 1981, authorize the 50 day
time extension on the subject ~ontract. This will revise the completion date from1
June 2, 1981 to July 22, 1981.

Gentlemen:
We are enclosing a letter from Tracy & Haigh notifying us
of a problem in location dichondra sod.
Due to this delay we are forced to request from the City of
Tustin another extension of time.
Based on Tracy & Haigh's letter we will need 30 working
days from June 22, 1981 to complete this project. As soon
as Tracy & Haigh receive their sod we will notify you for
scheduling installation.
We are very sorry for this further delay and appreciate your
consideration in this matter.
