Tiller Day Banners
The Tustin Tiller Days Committee has submitted a request to place
banners on City properties which will advertise the festival. A
temporary use permit has been filed but staff cannot approve this
action without the consent of the property owner (the City).
RECOMMENDED ACTION
Direct staff to approve their request subject to:
Approval of the Tustin Unified School District for site number
1. (See enclosed correspondence).
2. Removal of the banners by October 12, 1981.

Dear Mary Ann,
The co)~m)ittee would like to request permission to advertise the Tiller
Days activities two weeks prior to the event by placing banners at the
following locations:
l) Columbus Tustin School facing Irvine to be hung on the fence
2) Peppertree Park, corner of "B" and First Streets, on the baseball backstop
3) Pine Tree ~ark, Bryan and Redhill, on the back fence
4) Boys Club of Tustin (on the building) facing the freeway
5) Centennial Park on a building
The dates would be: September 21 thru October ll, 1981
The banners are constructed as follows: ll" x 15' long, reinforced paper
(yellow) with grey borders and red characters 6" high.
In the event of defacing or removal, new banners would be hung.
