COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
F~0M: JAMES G. ROURKE, CITY ATTORNEY
LYDIA S. LEVIN, DEPUTY CITY ATTORNEY
SUBJECT: AMENDMENTS TO CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE
Very few changes are necessary to bring the Redevelopment
Agency's Code into compliance with the Political Reform Act,
as amended. All of the changes that are necessary are changes
which are also being made in the Conflict of Interest Code
applicable to the other City employees. In brief, changes
are being made: to eliminate any Civil Service/non-Civil
Service distinction in Section 2.4; to add in an additional
inclusion from the definition of income; to slightly alter
'the monetary reporting requirements relating to real property
and investments; and to require the disclosure of interest
rates and security given for loans.
