REQUEST:
To sell alcoholic beverages (ABC Type 41 license) for the on-site consumption of
beer and wine in conjunction with a 3,510 square foot restaurant.
ENVIRONMENTAL STATUS:
This project is categorically exempt (Class 1) pursuant to Section 15301 of the
California Environmental Quality Act.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the Zoning Administrator adopt Zoning Administrator Action (ZAA) No. 16-010
approving Conditional Use Permit (CUP) 2016-19 to authorize an ABC Type 41
License for the sale of alcoholic beverages (beer and wine) for on-site consumption
in conjunction with a 3,510 square foot restaurant (Friends Cafe Restaurant)
located at 17391 17th Street.

The Zoning Administrator called the meeting to order.
It was noted there were no members of the public present for this item.
The applicant, Dariush Solaimani, was in attendance.
The Zoning Administrator stated she reviewed the staff report and did not have any
questions nor did she need a presentation. She asked Mr. Solaimani if he had the
opportunity to review the staff report and if he agreed with the Conditions of
Approval. The Zoning Administrator allowed Mr. Solaimani a few minutes to give
final review of the Conditions of Approval. He was in agreement with the
Conditions of Approval.
The Zoning Administrator approved ZAA 16-010 thereby approving CUP
2016-19.

The date of the next meeting of the Zoning Administrator will be scheduled when
items are set for hearing.
