Six Star Cablevision
Use permit application has been submitted by Six Star Cablevision
requesting authorization to use city property (the detached portion of
the ColumbusLTustin parksite) to install a 100 foot antenna tower, 3
twenty foot earth station receivers and one 12 foot equipment
building. Six Star was informed by the City Administrator that the
City cannot rent or sell property without receiving full
compensation.
Before the use permit can be noticed and heard by the Planning Agency,
the following items should be considered by the City Council.
1. Does the City Council desire to lease or sell this portion
of land to Six Star Cablevision.
If the Council desires to follow this action then
it would be appropriate to require Six Star to deposit
$1,000.00 in prder to secure an appraisal of the
property to determine a fair rental or sale price. Also
there will need to be a public hearing on the lease or
sale.
Bo
If the Council does not desire to follow this action
then direct staff to inform Six Star to acquire a
