Removal of Ash Tree
Greenvalley south of Mitchell Avenue and just west of Red Hill was
recently taken into the City by annexation of the area. Tremendous
damage has been caused to the sidewalk, curb and gutters through the
years by the Ash trees in the parkway. Approximately one to one and
a half years ago the county removed all but three trees but no concrete
repair was done.
In accordance with previous Counil direction, we distributed letters
to the residences on the street informing them that the City wished
to remove the remaining three trees and if anyone objected to reply
in writing within 10 days. No objections were received.
No action required, for information only:
We intend to proceed with the removal of the trees.
