TUESDAY EVENING AT 7:00 O'CLOCK, SEPT. 2, 1947
PRESENT WERE: COUNCILMEN: KIDD, CHARLETON, HUMESTON, FORNEY,
AND BACON
ABSENT WERE: COUNCILMEN: NONE
CITY ATTORNEY C.ARTHUR NISSON, JR AND CITY ENGI-
NEER, J.L. MCBRIDE WERE PRESENT
MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF AUGUST 18TH WERE READ
AND APPROVED BY ORDER OF THE MAYOR.
RESOLU- RESOLUTION #196, A RESOLUTION FIXING AND DETERMIN- TION 196
ING THE AMOUNT OF MONEY NECESSARY TO BE RAISED BY
TAXATION AS A REVENUE TO CARRY ON THE VARIOUS
DEPARTMENTS OF THE CITY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1947-
1948, WAS ADOPTED ON THE MOTION OF COUNCILMAN
BACON. COUNCILMAN FORNEY 2ND THE MOTION. ROLL
CALL FAVORABLE ALL MEMBERS VOTION AYE.
RESOLUT- RESOLUTION 197, A RESOLUTION FIXING AND DETERMIN-
ION 197 ING THE NUMBER OF CENTS ON EACH ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS
OF THE ASSESSED VALUATION OF THE TAXABLE PROPERTY
WITHIN THE CITY TO BE LEVIED AND COLLECTED AS A
REVENUE TO PAY THE GENERAL RUNNING EXPENSE DURING
DURING THE FISCAL YEAR 1947-1948, WAS ADOPTED ON
THE MOTION OF COUNCILMAN FORNEY AND COUNCILMAN
HUMESTON 2ND THE MOTION. ROLL CALL FAVORABLE ALL
MEMBERS VOTION AYE.
TRAILER THE MATTER OF ELECTRICAL INSPECTION FOR THE TRAILER
CAMP CAMPS WAS UP FOR A FULL DISCUSSION AND IT WAS DECIDED
ELECTRICAL TO ASK THAT THE TRAILER CAMPS COME UP TO STANDARD
INSPECTION FOR THE REGULATIONS WITHOUT FURTHER DELAY. ATTORNEY
NISSON WAS INSTRUCTED TO COMMENCE ACTION AGAINST
THE TUSTIN MOTEL FOR THE OPERATION OF THEIR TRAILER
COURT.
BILLS COUNCILMAN HUMESTON MOVED THAT THE FOLLOWING BILLS
BE PAID. COUNCILMAN BACON 2ND THE MOTION. CARRIED.
