SANTA ANA VALLEY IRRIGATION CO. (S.A.V.I.)
QUITCLAIM DEED
The developer of the Tustin Arms II condominium conversion (Tract
No. 10875) on Pasadena Ave. has requested the City to quitclaim a
S.A.V.I. easement which is located.on the westerly side of their
development and adjacent to the Costa Mesa (Newport) Freeway.
The removal of this easement and irrigation line is required so
that a parking structure can be built immediately adjacent to the
freeway.
The City has no future use for this easement at this location.
City Council has previously established a transfer fee in the
amount of $90.00 which'would be applied to this quitclaim action.
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Tustin City Council, at their meeting
of January 5, 1981, authorize the Mayor to execute the attached
quitclaim deed and direct staff to record said document subject
to the receipt of the $90.00 transfer fee.

Rancho Santiago De Santa Ana, recorded in Book "B" of Judgements of 17th
Judicial District Court of California, in the county of Orange, state of
California, described in deed recorded in Book 1166, page 589 and Book 415,
page 408 of Official Records, in the office of the County Recorder of said
county described as follows:
That certain 10 foot wide easement for the conveyance of water and incidental
purposes to the state of California described as Parcel 3 per deed recorded in
Book 6062, page 680 and as Parcel 3 per deed recorded in Book 5830, page 638 of
Official Records of Orange County, California; and as quitclaim~d to Santa Ana
Valley Irrigation Company per Director's Deed recorded in Book 11520, page 1642
of Official Records of said Orange County and as subsequently conveyed to the
City of Tustin per agreement and conveyance recorded in Book 11961, page 587 of
Official Records of said Orange County.
