MISS TUSTIN PAGEANT
The Tustin Jaycees have requested and received approval for use of the
Clifton C. Miller Community Center for the Miss Tustin Pageant. The Jaycees
and this Department have mutually negotiated the dates and times for a
minimal disruption of agency programming. The Jaycees will be utilizing
the Community Center January 8 and 9; February 9, 11, 13, 14, 15, 18, 20, 23,
24, 25, 26, 27, and 28; and March 1. Rental fees would equal approximately
$1,200 for weekend use.
Attached is a letter from the Jaycees requesting waiver of rental fees. As
I understand historical data, Council has authorized this waiver in years
past. As stated earlier, dates and times of use have already been
coordinated between Jaycees and Community Services Department.
RECOMMENDATION:
Pleasure of the'Council; staff is not opposed to waiver of fees.
