ARTHUR NISSON JR. WAS PRESENT THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED ON THE ORDER OF THE MAYOR AND IN THE CORRESPONDENCE WE RECEIVED A LETTER FROM THE COUNTY LEAGUE OF CITIES NAMING ANAHEIM BEING THE NEXT MEETING PLACE, JULY 1o, 1947, FOR THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE AND HAROLD FRANK, OF DIEHL & COMPANY, TO BE THE SPEAKER. SUBJECT, "BUDGETS." CORRESPON- A LETTER OF JUNE 27, 1947, FROM THE LEAGUE OF DENCE CALIFORNIA CITIES--Subject- LIQUOR LICENSE FEES, AND STREET AND HIGHWAY FUNDS GIVING DETAILS OF THE INCREASE THAT WE MAY EXPECT IN THE 1948 STATE BUDGET FOR GASOLINE TAX, LICENSE TAX, AND ALCOHOL BEVERAGE TAX. ALSO A LETTER FROM J.J. CROCKETT OF 310 SOUTH C STREET, TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, ASKING THAT A PALM TEE BE TRIMMED. EDWIN COX, OF THE TUSTIN FOOD CENTER, FILED WITH US HIS RECEIPT #E91820, OF THE, STATE BOARD OF EQUALIZATION, LIQUOR LICENSE, WHICH HE IS CONTEMPLATING INSTALLING. ESTABLISH MR. JOHN Z. REED, OF PROSPECT STREET, MADE AN INVES- PEDDLING TIGATION CONCERNING A GROCERY PEDDLING TRUCK TO GRO. TRUCK BE USED IN THE CITY OF TUSTIN. HE WAS INFORMED THAT HIS LICENSE WOULD BE $20.00 A YEAR. PROPOSED ORD- A PROPOSED ORDINANCE WAS FILED BY THE HEALTH DEP~ INANOE FILED ARTMENT REQUIRING ALL BUSINESS ESTABLISHMENTS HAND- BY HEALTH LING FOOD, OTHER THAN IN PACKAGES WRAPPED, AND ALL DEPARTMENT EATING HOUSES TO BE REQUIRED TO FIRST HAVE A CER- TIFICATE ON SANITATION BEFORE A BUSINESS LICENSE CAN BE ISSUED BY THE CITY. TRAILER COURT COUNC ILMAN HUESTON MOVED TO TAKE NECESSARY STEPS SANITATION. TO CLEAN UP TRAILER COURTS ON SANITATION AND IF REQUIREMENTS ARE MET JUSTIFYING BUSINESS LICENSE. INSTALLING COUNCILMAN HUMESTON MADE THE FOLLOWING REPORT ON SIDEWALK SIDEWALK IN FRONT OF 125 W. MAIN STREET, AND LOT BETWEEN THIS PROPERTY AND HARDWARE COMPANY AND RE- PORTED THE COST OF REPAIR OR REBUILD SIDEWALK TO BE $144.00. MR. FOLKNER, OF 125 W. MAIN STREET AGREED TO PAVE THE PARKING TO BE A FULL WIDTH FOR THE SIDEWALK. COUNCILMAN CHARLETON MOVED TO ORDER THE SIDEWALK IN. COUNCILMAN HUMESTON SECONDED MOTION. MOTION CARRIED. COUNCILMAN CHARLETON MOVED TO PAY THE FOLLOWING BILLS. COUNCILMAN FORNEY SECONDED MOTION. CARRIED. COLLECTOR OF INTERNAL REVENUE $238.10 UTILITIES $36.25 CHAS. E. MORRIS $23.33 J.L.
