PACIFIC TELEPHONE COMPANY
EASEMENT - CENTENNIAL PARK
The Pacific Telephone Company has requested the City grant an
easement 15 feet in width within Centennial Park for purposes of
constructing, operating, maintaining, repairing or replacing
underground telephone communication systems. This easement would
extend through Centennial Park from Roanoke Avenue to Brookshire
Avenue adjacent to and easterly of the sidewalk.
This easement will allow for the expansion of service within the
Tustin Meadows area. Due to the increased demand for additional
telephone service within the area, it is necessary to install
this additional cabling. The location within the park will
eliminate need of excavating several streets within the
community.
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Tustin City Council, at their meeting
of December 1, 1980, authoirze the Mayor to execute said grant of
easement within Centennial Park for said installation of
underground telephone communication systems.
