A copy of their request is attached for your information. The area to be posted is immediately adjacent to the Williamshire Condominiums on the easterly side of Williams Street between Alliance Avenue and Main Street. This area is approximately 660 feet in length and is shown in red on the attached map. This street is swept on Thursdays and parking could be prohibited between the hours of 6:00 A.M. and noon of those days. A suggested sign would read as follows: NO PARKING 6:00 A.M. TO NOON THURSDAY STREET SWEEPING Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council at their meeting of November 17, 1980 authorize the installation of the above mentioned signs on the easterly side of Williams Street adjacent to the Williamshire Condominiums for a distance of 660 feet. DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS/ CITY ENGINEER BL:dph WILLIAMSHIRE HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION 15510 Williams Street Tustin, CA October 24, 1980 Mr. Robert Ledendecker, Director Public Works Department City of Tustin Main at Centennial Tustin, CA 92680 Dear Mr. Ledendecker: It is the suggestion of the Williamshire Homeowners Association that No Parking signs be posted along Williams Street for the day and hours when the city's street sweeping equipment passes by. we believe this action will result in a more efficient cleaning of the street and eliminate the pileup of leaves and debris that accumulates under the parked cars.. A few days ago it was observed that-watering by neighbors impeded the flow of water in front of our ' property du~ to the mass of leaves, etc. In our opinion this condition would easily be alleviated by the No Parking signs. Should you wish to make contact with our homeowner representative on this matter, please call Irene Tassoulas at #834-4200 during office hours. Thank you for your consideration to our request.
