MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN,
HELD IN THE CITY HALL OF TUSTIN ON MONDAY EVENING AT 7 O'CLOCK,
MARCH 3, 1947
PRESENT WERE: COUNCILMEN: KIDD, FORNEY, CHARLETON, HUME-
STON, AND BACON
ABSENT WERE: COUNCILMEN: NONE
THE MEETING WAS CALLED TO ORDER BY THE MAYOR, JEROME C. KIDD.
THE READING OF THE MINUTES AND ADOPTION OF THE SAME WAS THE FIRST
ORDER OF BUSINESS FOR THE EVENING.
A. H. HOLFORD, NEW OWNER OF THE TAYLOR NURSERY, WAS INVITED TO
EXPLAIN TO THE BOARD A COMPLAINT AGAINST THE PARKING OF TRUCKS IN
FRONT OF HIS PLACE OF BUSINESS. A LENGTHY DISCUSSION WAS HAD ON
THE SUBJECT, AND AN INVESTIGATION WAS TO BE MADE AND POSSIBLY AN
ORDINANCE WRITTEN TO GOVERN THE PARKING OF TRUCKS WAS TO BE STUDIED
BY THE CITY ATTORNEY, C. ARTHUR NISSON.
A REQUEST BY THE JUSTICE OF THE PEACE, R. P, ALLEN, AND CONSTABLE
JOHN STANTON THAT THE BUSS STATION AND BENCH BE MOVED FROM IN
FRONT OF THE JUSTICE COURT WAS PROMISED AN INVESTIGATION.
COUNCILMAN HUMESTON MOVED THE ADOPTION OF THE 1946 BUILDING CODE.
COUNCILMAN CHARLETON SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED.
COUNCILMAN CHARLETON MOVED TO PAY THE FOLLOWING BILLS. COUNCILMAN
FORNEY SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED.
