HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC 6 STOP SIGN INST 11-03-80DATE: TO: FROM: SUBJECT: October 23, 1980 CONSENT CALENDAR No. 6 Inter-Corn DAN B~ANKENSHIP CITY ADMINISTRATOR BOB LEDENDECKER, DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS/CITY ENGINEER STOP SIGN INSTALLATION ON BRYAN AVENUE AT FARMINGTON ROAD At their meeting of 0ctober 20,1980, the Tustin City Council authorized the installation of stop signs on Bryan Avenue at Farmington Road during the upcoming Christmas vacation for the school district. It is proposed to install these signs on Monday, December 22nd the first day of the vacation. Attached is a Resolution designating the placement of certain stop signs at the subject intersection. Adoption of this Resolution is necessary so that enforcement can be made by the Police Department. Recommendation: It is recommended that the Tustin City Council at their meeting of November 3, 1980 pass and adopt the attached Resolution designating the placement of certain stop signs at Bryan Avenue at Farmington Road. The City Council of the City of Tustin, California, does resolve as follows: Stop signs for souteast bound and northwest bound Bryan Avenue at Farmington Road are hereby designated as authorized stop signs in the City of Tustin.
