Developer Proposals
The attached letter from Larmor Development Company, builder of the wood siding
and brick veneer office buildings on the west side of ¥orba Street, south of
Vandenberg, indicates a strong interest in two of the properties currently being
appraised and under consideration for purchase by the Agency. A telephone con-
versafion with Doug Gfeller of Gfeller Development Company, Inc. indicated a
similar interest in the "C" Street property south of Main east of his proposed
Stevens Sqdare project.
The sites are being considered for purchase by the Agency fo provide parking;
eliminate Iow intensify blighted uses and create new developmen~ opportunities.
RECOMMENDATION
Direct staff fo solicit a preliminary development proposal from the two afore-
mentioned firms and any other inf'~rested parties for Agency review. Further,
direct staff to inform the subject property owners of such sulicifafion and con-
siderafions of the Agency,

Please allow this letter to register Larmor Development Company's
interest in developing one, or both of the two (2) following
properties located within the City of Tustin redevelopment district.
1.) Approximately 1.25 acres, Northwest Comer of Main
and Prospect Avenue (AP ~062-085-O7, 062-082-05).
2.) Approximately .68~ acres, Northwest Comer of Second Street
and Prospect Avenue (AP ~062-083-07, 08, 09, 10).
Of particular interest is the parcel located on Main and Prospect,
which Larmor Development has been actively trying to purchase for
more than a year now.
I would be happy to meet with you to disCUss a .formal proposal or
provide any information which you may require and look forward to
working with you and the City of Tustin relative to these properties.
