The amount budgeted for this vehicle is $7,102.00. All bids include tax. VILLA FORD OF ORANGE CORWIN FORD OF SANTA ANA GUARANTY CHEVROLET OF SANTA ANA SELMAN CHEVROLET OF ORANGE CONE BRO. CHEVROLET OF FULLERTON $6,860.74 $6,867.98 NO BID NO BID $7,436.06 The low bidders had notations on their bids stating that if a price increase was received from the factory before they'received a purchase order from the City, the additional price would be added to their bid. The agencies were pooled by phone immediately after bid opening to inquire if the bids received were valid. They were not. A price increase had been received. The bids reflecting the price increase are as follows; VILLA FORD $7,089.78 CORWIN ~ORD CONE BRO. CHEVROLET ( NO CHANGE ) $7,099.51 $7,436.06 RECOMMENDATIONS: I recon~end the low bidder, Villa Fords" bid of $7,089.78 be accepted and a purchase order in that amount be mailed to them.
