MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TUSTIN, HELD IN THE CITY HALL OF
TUSTIN, MONDAY EVENING AT 7 O'CLOCK DEC. 2,1946
PRESENT WERE: COUNCILMEN: KIDD, CHARLETON, HUMESTON, JACOBS
FORNEY
ABSENT WERE: COUNCILMEN: NONE
CITY ATTORNEY C. ARTHUR NISSON JR. WAS PRESENT
THE MEETING WAS CALLED TO ORDER BY MAYOR KIDD AND THE MlNUTES OF
THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL NOVEMBER 18TH WERE ADOPTED ON THE ORDER
THE MAYOR AS CORRECTED.
RESOLUTION 188 THIS RESOLUTION ORDERING THE ALLEY A FIFTEEN
ADOPTED FT. STRIP IN WIDTH AND ONE HUNDRED TWENTY FT.
IN LENGTH IN TRACT #338 ADJACENT TO LOTS 1-2-3
AND 4 TO BE ABANDONED AND VACATED TO PUBLIC USE.
THE ORDER WAS MADE ON THE MOTION OF COUNCILMAN
HUMESTON AND SECONDED BY COUNCILMAN CHARLETON.
ROLL CALL RESULTING IN ALL MEMBERS VOTING FAVOR-
ABLE. MOTION CARRIED.
J. D. CASPER MADE APPLICATION TO THE COUNCIL
FOR PERMISSION TO ERECT A NEON SIGN ACROSS THE
STREET FROM HIS CAFE AT 505 WEST FIRST ST.
THE REQUEST WAS DENIED ON THE MOTION OF COUNCIL-
MAN HUMESTON AND SECONDED BY COUNCILNAN CHARLE-
TON. MOTION CARRIED.
COUNCILMAN THE RESIGNATION OF LEE JACOBS WAS ACCEPTED AND
RESIGNS ACTED ON BUT REGRETFULLY SO BY THE COUNCIL AS
THEY TRULY REGRETTED HIS HAVING TO GIVE WAY FOR
THE SAKE OF HIS WORK IN HIS OIL STATION. COUNCIL-
MAN CHARLETON MOVED THE RESIGNATION BE ACCEPTED.
COUNCILMAN HUMESTON SECONDED THE MOTION, MOTION
CARRIED.
THE FOLLOWING BILLS WERE ORDERED PAID BY THE
MOVE OF THE COUNCILMAN CHARLETON AND SECONDED BY
COUNCILMAN JACOBS. MOTION CARRIED.
