of the City Council of Tustin,
held in the City Hall of Tustin
Monday evening at 7 O'clock,
October 7, 1946.
PRESENT WERE: COUNCILMEN: PARK, JACOBS, AND HUMESTON
ABSENT WERE: COUNCILMEN: KIDD, CHARLETON
COUNCILMAN PARK WAS CHOSEN TO ACT AS MAYOR PRO
TEM FOR THE MEETING. THE MINUTES OF THE LAST
MEETING WAS ADOPTED ON THE ORDER OF THE MAYOR.
POLICE CHIEF IN THE COMMUNITION8 CHIEF HEARD HANDED IN HIS
ARTHUR HEARD LETTER OF RESIGNATION TO TAKE EFFECT AS OF
RESIGNS OCTOBER 15th, WHICH WAS ACCEPTED ON THE MOTION
OF COUNCILMAN HUMESTON AND 2ND BY COUNCILMAN
JACOBS. MOTION CARRIED.
RESOLUTION NO. 184 THIS RESOLUTION APPOINTING THOMAS MCMULLEN CHIEF
ADOPTED OF POLICE LIICENCE COLLECTOR AND TAX COLLECTOR
OF TUSTIN WAS ADOPTED ON THE MOTION OF COUNCILMAN
HUMESTON, AND 2ND BY COUNCILMAN JACOBS. ROLL
COUNCILMAN PARK AYE JACOBS, AYE HUMESTON, AYE
ALL FAVOR VOTE FOR COUNCILMAN PRESENT, COUNCILMAN
KIDD AND CHARLETON BEING ABSENT, MOTION CARRIED.
APPLICATION FOR NIGHT POLICE AND CROSSING WAS
DEFERRED UNTIL THE NEXT MEETING. THE MATTER OF A
CROSSING OFFICER FOR THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL WAS
ALSO DEFERED UNTIL THE NEXT MEETING.
POLICE CHIEF HEARD REPORTED THAT MR. NOBLE OF
THE SULLY MILLER CO. WOULD SOON BE BACK TO
FINISH THE RESURFACING OF THE STREETS.
THE FOLLOWING BILLS WERE PRESENTED FOR PAY- ~
