TO: HONORABLE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
FROM: ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT
SUBJ£C?:TUSTIN LEGISLATORS' VOTING RECORD INFORMATION
During the last two weeks before the California Legislature recessed
until December, Tustin's legislative representatives in Sacramento
had an opportunity to hear at least seven (7) important bills
impacting our City in different areas. Staff contacted each
legislator's District or Capitol Office on all seven bills, communicating
the City's position by either letter or telephone.
Attached is a summary of the seven bills and the corresponding voting
record of each representative. Asterisks (*) represent a legislator's
vote contrary to the City's position.
Final disposition is still pending as of this date on five of the
bills, awaiting Governor Brown's veto or signature. The Governor's
Office has also been notified by telegram and mailgram of the City's
position on each remaining bill.
Staff felt Council might wish to be informed of our legislators'
responsiveness to local government expressed concerns.
Respectfully submitted,
