Kenneth Fleagle, Community Development Consultant Proposed Annexation of Tentative Tract Map 11050 The Local Agency Formation Cor~nission on August 13, 1980, by Resolution No. 80-66, approved the proposed annexation of Tentative Tract Map 11050 and directed fhaf the City Council be the conducting authority for initiating annexation proceed- ings. This proposal was filed by the property owner, Beyer & Warden, Inc. for the 2.22 acre parcel located af the southeasterly corner of "B" Street and the Santa Ana Freeway off-ramp. Tentative Tract Map 11050 was approved by the Planning Agency and City Council on August 18, 1980. It is necessary for the City Council to adopt a resolution initiating annexation proceedings and fixing a time, d~e, and place of hearing on the proposed annexa- tion and fo provide notice for an inhabited annexation. RECOtCNENDED ACTION If is reccr~nended fhaf Resolution No. 80-91 be adopted, scheduling a public hearing for the proposed annexation at 7:30 p.m. on October 6, 1980. RKF: mm RESOLUTION NO. 80-91 1 2 3 4 5 6 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 1~; 18 19 2O 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 3O 31 A RESOLUTION OF IHE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, INITIATING ANNEXATION PROCEEDINGS AND SCHEDULING A HEARING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN INHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS "TENTATIVE TRACT /~AP 11050" TO THE CITY OF TUSTIN. WHEREAS, a petition was filed with the Local Agency Formation Commission by Beyer and Warden, Inc. for the purpose oF proposin9 the annexation oF certain territory fo the city of Tusfin, and WHEREAS, said territory is an inhabited area designated as "Tentative Tract Map 11050" as more fully described by the map shown as Exhibit attached hereto and apart hereof, and WHEREAS, the proposed annexation is for the purpose of aufhorizin9 the redevelopment of the property fo the standards of the City of Tustin and the receipt of full municipal services, and WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission on August 13, 1980, by Resolution No. 80-66, approved the annexation proposed as an inhabited annexation, designated the City of Tusfin as the conducting authority, and directed fhaf the City Council initiate annexation proceedings. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, City of Tusfin, Call- fornia: 1. That a public hearing on the proposed Tentative Tract Map 11050 annexation to the city of Tustin, will be conducted on October 6, 1980 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 300 Centennial Way, Tustin. 2. That any owner of lan'd within the territory or any registered voter residing within the territory proposed for annexation may file a written protest against the annexation with the City Clerk of Tustin at any time prior to the conclusion of the City Council hearing an the proposed annexation. 3. That the City Clerk shall cause notice of the hearing on the proposed annexation to be given as required by law.
