OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TUSTIN, HELD IN THE CITY HALL
OF TUSTIN ON MONDAY EVENING 7 PM
MARCH 18th 1946.
PRESENT WERE: COUNCILMEN: Kidd, Rawlings Jacobs, Park and
Charleton
ABSENT WERE: COUNCILMEN: None.
ATTORNEY Geo. E. Bradley was present.
Mayor Kidd opened the meeting and asked for the
Minutes of the previous meeting, the Minutes were adopted
Correspondance; The County Planning Board applied for recommend-
ation of the Council for the Manufactor of Cement Blocks
outside the City but within one mile. On the motion of
Councilman Charleton seconded by Councilman Park the
application was approved. Motion carried.
Transfering The matter of transfering the On sale wine and
Wine &Beer Beer License from John C. Scheffer and Gertrude Woodruff
Licence to Edwin H. Curry and Frank C. Glabb was rejected on the
motion of Councilman Park seconded by Councilman Rawlings.
A poll of the vote of the Council was as follows--
Councilman Kidd--Aye, Councilman Rawlings--Aye, Councilman
Charleton--Aye, Councilman Jacobs--Aye and Councilman
Park--Aye. Motion carried.
Insurance The Orange County Insurance Agency remitted with
Adj. a check of $13.78 for adjusting Insurance written by them
for the City.
Street Lighting The Board of Supervisors acted favorably on the
approved. lighting improvement for the Streets of Tustin, word
was received from the Edison Company.
Councilman Rawlings moved for the payment of the
bills, Councilman Jacobs seconded the motion. Motion carried
Utilities $35.51 Earl Kidd $3.50
Schwabacher Frey Co. $ 6.00 Union Oil $3.59
Hocksday and Phillips $ 1.23
Councilman Charleton moved to adjourn, Councilman
Park seconded the motion. Motion carried.
