HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC MINUTES 1946 03 0455 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, HELD IN THE CITY HALL OF TUSTIN, MONDAY EVENING MARCH 4TH 1946 PRESENT WERE: COUNCILMEN: KIDD, RAWLINGS, CHARLESTON, JACOBS AND Park ABSENT WERE: COUNCILMEN: NONE ATTORNEY: Geo.E. Bradley was present. The minutes of the last meeting of the Council were read by the Clerk and adopted on the order of the Mayor as there were no errors or ommissions regestered by any of the councilmen. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer N. Swift was before the Council to talk over the matter of the rejection of their request through the State Board of Equilazation for an off sale Liquor License to be transfered from Orange to 155 D. Street Tustin. Mr Swift explained to the Council that there would be no necessity of having the hearing conducted by the State Board of Equalization if the Council would withdraw their objections to the granting of the license. On the motion of Councilman Jacobs and seconded by Councilman Park, D.L. Hoover was given permission to cut a driveway into his lot off First Street, the work to be done under the supervision of Commissioner Rawlings. Motion carried. The County planning Commission sent in a map #1152 covering sub-division, that is within three miles of the city for approval by the Council, Counncilman Charleton moved that the map be approved by the Council and that the City Clerk and the May be authorized to indicate the approval in writing. Councilman Rawlings seconded the motion. Motion carried. Councilman Charleton moved that Street work to be done on Pacific Street and some repare on the Streets of the City by Sully Miller Company be done under the supervision of Street Commissioner Rawlings, Councilman Park seconded the Motion. Motion carried. The following Bills were ordered paid on the motion of Councilman Rawlings and seconded by Councilman Jacobs. Carson & Golding $20.81 Harold Rasmussen $13.50 Dr. C. Price 10.00 H.D. Farrage 10.00 Fire Dept. 22.00 Tustin Hardware 14.35 Councilman Charleton moved that the meeting adjourn Councilman Jacobs seconded the motion. Motion carried. Chas.E.Morris City Clerk Jerome C.
