SUBJECT: ALLEY VACATION AND ABANDONMENT - PUBLIC HEARING
At their meeting of May 19, 1980, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 84-47,
declaring its intention to vacate and abandon a portion of an alley between E1
Camino Real and "C" Street and northerly of Second Street, and fixed a time and
place for the public hearing thereof.
The public hearing has been set for the June 16th,1980 Council Meeting, at 7:30 p.m.
After this public hearing has been completed and the Council so desires to vacate
and abandon that portion of the subject alley, the attached Resolution will require
adoption by the City Council.
This abandonment proceeding was initiated so that the proposed office development
at 150, 160 E1Camino Real can proceed per the previously approved site plan.
RECOMMENDATION:
Upon completion of the public hearing, and if the City Council desires to vacate
and abandon a portion of the subject alley, it is recon~nended that the attached
Resolution be passed and adopted by the City Council at their meeting of June 16,
1980.

RESOLUTION NO. 80-53
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TNE CITY
OF TUSTIN ORDERING VACATION OF A PORTION OF
AN ALLEY BETWEEN EL CAMINO REAL AND "C"
STREET AND NORTHERLY OF SECOND STREET.
The City Council of the City of Tustin, California, does hereby resolve
as follows:

City Council finds and determines:
The City Council duly adopted its Resolution No. 80-47,
declaring its intention to vacate and abandon a portion
of an alley, shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and
incorporated herein by this reference, and fixing a Time
and Place of Public Hearing thereon.
Said Resolution has been duly published according to law,
and
Said Notices of said hearing have been posted as required
by law, and
A public hearing has been duly called, noticed and held
according to law, and all persons interested in or ob-
jecting to the proposed vacation and abandonment appearing
at said hearing were heard.
Said portion of subject alley is not necessary for present
or prospective public alley purposes, except for public
utilities.
That the Planning Agency, by adoption of Resolution No. 1895,
dated May 19, 1980, has determined that the subject property
should be declared excess to the City's needs and disposed
of for private development.
g. Categorical exemption from EIR requirements.
2. The City Council hereby orders the vacation and abandonment of that
portion of an alley designated on Exhibit "A" attached hereto, subject to the
reservation of easements per Section 8330 of the Street and Highway Code.
3. The City Clerk is directed to cause a certified copy of this
Resolution, duly attested by the City Clerk under the seal of the City, to
be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of the County of Orange.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a ~egular meeting of the City Council held on the
16th day of June, 1980.

Those portions of Lots 4,5,16 and 17, Block 4, of the Tustin City
Tract as shown on a map recorded in Book 4, page 218, miscellaneous
records, of Los Angeles County , California, described as follows:
The westerly lO.00 feet of Lots 4 and 5, Block 4,
of said Tustin City Tract and the easterly lO.00
feet of Lots 16 and l?, Block 4, of said Tustin
City Tract.
