Tustin Meadows and Centennial Park
From May 11 through May 26, Tustin Police Officers spent a total of 30.1 hours
patrolling and responding to calls in the Tustin Meadows and Centennial Park.
Officers answered 32 radio calls and made 31 observations, traffic stops and/or
security checks. These calls and observations resulted in 9 crime or incident
resports, no arrests, 6 citations (1 for traffic violations and 5 for park
curfew), and 7 park warning cards. Average response time for radio calls
was 14.8 minutes. Of the 16 subjects contacted in the enforcement situations,
3 were Tustin Meadows residents.
The following is an abbreviated log of Tustin Meadows activities for the period:
Sunday 5/11/80
A report of a missing senile adult from 14700 Danborough
was found and returned home. An illegally parked vehicle
was gone on officer's arrival from 14700 Devonshire.
Centennial Park security check from 1415 to 1450 resulted
in a citizen contact. Park security patrols from 2015
to 2205 resulted in 5 citations for park curfew, 1 resident
and 4 non-resident.
Monday 5/12/80
A suspicious subject was F.I.'d at Ashburton and Bridgeport.
A citizen contact at 1900 Hampshire. A report of an illegal
solicitor in the 1700 block Greenmeadow. Park security
patrol from 2040 to 2230 hours.
Tuesday 5/13/80
A juvenile runaway report was taken in the 1900 block Roanoke.
A racing motorcycle was gone on arrival in the 14600 block
of Buckingham. Park security patrol from 2013 to 2229 hours.
Wednesday 5/14/80
A report of a suspicious subject at Centennial Park. The
subject was gone on arrival. Another suspicious subject at
Devonshire and Sycamore was F.I.'d by officers. A grand
theft report was taken from 14700 block Foxcroft. Park
security patrol from 2015 to 2230.
Thursday 5/15/80 Park security patrol from 2025 to 2230 hours,

Report of a traffic hazard at Brookshire and Devonshire.
Suspicious circumstances reported at 14500 Emerywood.
A citizen assist at 14700 Hyannisport. An illegal
solicitor at 14582 Emerywood. Park security check from
2031 to 2231 resulted in one male non-resident juvenile
warning.
A stolen bicycle report from 1700 Brookshire. Park
security checks from 2057 to 2113, 2149 to 2203 and
2230 to 2240. Park was empty each time.
An automobile burglary/arson report was taken from the
14900 block Braeburn. A disturbance reported in
Centennial Park, report was unfounded. Found bicycle
reported in the 1600 block Brookshire which was returned
to owner. Park security checks from 2030 to 2055 and
from 2130 to 2230.
A stolen bicycle report from the 1900 block Hampshire.
Park security check from 2015 to 2145 resulted in one adult
non-resident warning and two juvenile non-resident
warnings.
No activity.
A reported juvenile runaway in Centennial Park. An
annoying phone call report in the 14800 block Braeburn.
A report of a racing vehicle on Danborough. A traffic
stop at Glenarbor and Brookshire resulted in 1 citation.
Park security checks from 2020 to 2135 and 2130 to 2230
hours.
A suspicious subject was F.I.'d in Centennial Park. A
suspicious vehicle was reported in the 1900 block Hampshire.
A citizen contact 14800 block Attboro.
Suspicious circumstances reported in the 14500 block
Westfall. Stolen bicycle was recovered in the 14800
block Hillsboro. Park security checks from 2035 to
2130 and from 2130 to 2250,
A hit and run traffic accident report from the 14700 block
Canterbury. An abandoned vehicle was marked in the area
of Dorchester and Buckingham. A racing vehicle driven by
a resident was stopped and advised in the 14600 block
Westfall. Park security patrol from 2030 to 2130 hours.

An abandOned vehicle wss marked in the 1600 block
Heather. Centennial Park walk-through from 1155 to
1205 hours. Park security patrol from 2100 to 2230
resulted in two adult resident warnings.
Two bicycles were stolen and recovered in the 14600 block
Canterbury. A report of racing vehicles in the area of
Braeburn and Ashburton. A juvenile problem reported in
the 1800 block Hampshire. Park security checks from
2030 to 2150 hours.
