HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 00-84 ] RESOLUTION NO. 00-84 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISE (DBE) PROGRAM AND OVERALL ANNUAL GOAL OF 13% FOR FEDERAL FISCAL YEAR 2001, FOR ADOPTION AND SUBMISSION 5 TO THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (CALTRANS) 7 WHEREAS, the City of Tustin is required to develop and submit a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program and Overall Annua Goal for S DBE participation for U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) assisted contracts, as a condition of federal financial assistance. pursuant to Title 49 Code of Federal 9 Regulations (CFR) Part 26; Participation by Disadvantaged Business Enterprises i0 (DBE) in DOT Programs: and i! WHEREAS, in accordance with new DBE regulations. the City of Tustin has developed a narrowly tailored DBE Program and Overall Annual DBE Goal of 13% i2 for Federal Fiscal Year 2001; and !3 WHEREAS. City Council adoption is required to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation federal funding requirements, provisions and financial i~ responsibilities. !5 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the.
