Tustin Meadows and Centennial Park
From'May 1 through May 10, Tustin Police Officers spent a total of 14.4 hours
patrolling and responding to calls in the Tustin Meadows and Centennial Park.
Officers answered 31 radio calls and made 16 observations, traffic stops and/or
security checks. These calls and observations resulted in 9 crime or incident
reports, no arrests, and 9 citations (5 for traffic violations and 4 for park
curfew). Average response time for radio calls was 22.5 minutes. Of 'the 13
subjects contacted in the enforcement situations, 6 were Tustin Meadows residents.

A citation was-issued to a vehicle parked illegally
at Hampden and Westfall.
A report of a suspicious vehicle in the 14700 block
Braeburn. A burglary report was taken in the 14800 block
of Foxcroft. Report of a racing motorcycle in the area
of 14600 Westfall. A patrol check was made of Centennial
Park. A traffic stop at Oxford and Roanoke resulted
in 3 F.I.'s. A report of racing bikes in the area of
14600 Canterbury.
Suspicious noises reported in area of 1800 Royal Oak.
A reckless driver at Canterbury and Sycamore. An injured
cat at Cedarcrest and Canterbury, given to Orange County
Animal Resulation. A reported disturbance at the park.
An abandoned vehicle 1700 Brookshire. A report of
disturbing juveniles at the deadend of Sycamore resulted
in 1 F.I. A disturbing party at 1600 Greenmeadow. A
request for a patrol check for loud music on Danbury
Circle. Park security check. Messages delivered 14700
Danbury and 17700 Briarcliff.
Report of a drunk subject 1600 Greenmeadow, unable to
locate. Patrol check of the park. A found bicycle
1900 Royal Oak.
A traffic stop at sycamore and Devonshire resulted in
2 citations. A burglary report taken at 2000 Fallenleaf.
Report of a juvenile disturbance from 1900 Hampshire.
An injury accident at Deveonshire and Hampden, bike vs.
parked vehicle. A juvenile disturbance at the east

A racing motorcycle, 14600 Westfall, A juvenile
disturbance 1900 Hampshire. Security check of the
park.
A citizen contact and a suspicious vehicle check at
14600 Cheshire. A burglary report taken, 14200
Heatherfield. An injury traffic accident at Darcy
and Roanoke. Park patrol from 2030 to 2200 resulted in
2 citations for park curfew.
A burglary report was taken 1900 Roanoke. Suspicious
circumstances reported'in the parking lot of the west
clubhouse. A stolen bicycle report from 1700 Greenmeadow.
Park patrol from 2150 to-2210 resulted in 2 citations
for park curfew.
A traffic stop at Devonshire and Sycamore resulted in
a citation to a non-resident. A report was taken of
an assault and battery from 14600 Devonshire. An
illegally parked vehic~ was gone on arrival of the
officer at 14700 Devonshire.

Tustin Meadows and Centennial Park
From April 1 through April 30, T~stin Police Officers spent a total of 45 hours
patrolling and responding to calls in the Tustin Meadows and Centennial Park.
Officers answered 56 radio calls and made 37 observations, traffic stops and/or
security checks. These calls and observations resulted in 32 crime or incident
reports, no arrests, and 14 citations (4 for traffic violations and 10 for park
curfew). Average response time for radio calls was 16.2 minutes. Of the
32 subjects contacted in the enforcement situations, 8 were Tustin Meadows
residents.

1 noisy animal call on Brookshire, 1 burglary report

1 park security patrol from 1830 to 2000.
Thursday 4/3/80
1 silent burglary alarm call in the 14000 block of
Emerywood, 1 park security patrol from 1840 to 2100, 1
traffic warning at Ashburton and DeVonshire.
Friday 4/4/80
1 burglary report on Roanoke, 1 suspicious subject call
on Devonshire at Sycamore, 1 park security patrol from
1930 to 2120 resulting in 4 citations for park curfew.
Saturday 4/5/80
1 unfounded auto burglary call on Fallingleaf, 2 parking
citations at Roanoke and Oxford, 1 park security patrol
from 1910 to 2100 resulting in 1 citation for park
curfew.

1 prowler call in 14000 block of Foxcroft, 1 suspicious
subject call and a leash law violation at the park,
1 disturbance call in 14000 block of Hyannisport,
1 park security patrol from 1900 to 2100 resulting in
1 citation for curfew.

of subjects disturbing the peace in park resulting in
3 curfew citations, 1 park security patrol from 1830
to 2050 resulting in 2 citations for curfew.
1 reckless driving call from Hampden and Emerywood,
1 burglary report from 14000 block of Kimberly, 1 call
of suspicious subjects in the park disturbing the peace.
1 call of a brother and sister fighting in the roadway
in the area of Hampshire and Burlingame. The parties
were contacted and counseled.
1 call of suspicious subjects at Devonshire and Ashburton
resulting in F.I.'s on 4 subjects, 2 residents, and
2 non-residents, 1 call of a racing vehicle at Hampshire
and Burlingame. Area check failed to locate the vehicle,
1 burglary report in the 1700 block of Amherst, 1 park
security check.
1 recovered bicycle report in the 14000 block of ~eather-
field, 1 suspicious subject at Sycamore and Devonshire.
1 report of a kidnaping in the 14000 block of Foxglove
which was unfounded, 1 suspicious vehicle in the 1800
block of Royal Oak, 1 suspicious vehicle in the 14000
block of Westfall.
