RECOMMENDED ACTION Delay replacement for the Position until after the hiring of the new Recreation Director. DATE: TO: FROM: SUBJECT: March 28, 1980 Inter-Corn Parks and Recreation Director RECREATION SUPERVISOR VACANCY I have received the resignation of Sue Dillon, Recreation Supervisor, effective April 14th, 1980. See attached letter. While Miss Dillon and her position will both greatly be missed, I am recommending that this position be left temporarily vacant until the new Department Director is hired, thus allowing the new Director to participate in the replacement of this position and to make his/her own Department reorganization study and recommendations. By temporarily shifting work assignments of current full-time employees plus fuller utilization of certain key part-time employees, I believe an adequate "holding pattern" can be accomplished that will be in the best interest of the City in the long run.
