DISTRICT. BACKGROUND: Ordinance No. 823 had first reading by title only and introduction at a Public Hearing on March 3, ]980. RECOMMENDATION: M. O. - that Ordinance No. 823 have second reading by title only. M. O. - that Ordinance No. 823 be passed and adopted. (ROLL CALL VOTE) 4 ? 8 9 10 11 12 15 14 15 16 17 1@ 19 2O 21 22 2~ 24 25 26 27 28 29 5O 52 ORDINANCE NO. 823 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM INDUSTRIAL (/W-l) TO RESIDENTIAL PLANNED DEVELOP~NT {P.D.) DISTRICT. The City Council of the City of Tustin does hereby ordain as follows: I. The City Council finds and determines: That a proper application {Zone Change 80--1) was initiated by the Planning Agency for a change of zone from Industrial (M) fo the Residential Planned Development (P.D.) for the property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and in- . corporated herein by this reference as though set forth herein in full. B. That a public hearing was duly called, noticed, and held on said application. C. That a zone change should be granted for the following reasons: 1. That this action will bring the zoning into conformance with the Tustin Area General Plan. 2. That the properties in the immediate area are zoned for multi-family residential purposes. Development of the subject property shall be in accordance with the policies adopted by the City Council, Uniform Build- ing Codes as administered by the Building O[ficial, Fire Code as administered by the Orange County Fire Marshal, and street improvement requirements as administered by the City Engineer. That a Negative Declaration has been applied for to conform with tme requirements of the California Environmental Quality The Zoning Ordinance of the City of Tusfin is hereby amended to reclassify the property located af 14901Ne.~porf Avenue, more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attacqed hereto and in- corporated herein by reference, from the Industrial (M) District fo the Residential Planned Development District (P.D.), PASSED AN) ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Tusfin City Council, held on the day of , 1980.
