HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC MINUTES 1946 02 0451 MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, HELD IN THE CITY HALL OF TUSTIN MONDAY EVENING FEB. 4TH 1946, AT 7 0'CLOCK. PRESENT WERE: COUNCILMEN: KIDD, RAWLINGS AND CHARLETON. ABSENT WERE: COUNCILMEN: PARK AND JACOBS. Mayor Kidd called the Meeting to order and the Minutes of the last meeting was read and approved by the Mayor as there were no errors or omissions regestered by the other members of the Board. J.L. McBride Consulting Engineer put before the Board a map submitted by the County Planning.Commission for our approval since the Tract to be turned back to acreage is within three miles of Tustin City Limits. Moved by Councilman Charleton and seconed by Councilman Rawlings that Tenative Map of Tract No. 1139 providing for revision to acre- age be approved and the Mayor and Clerk authorized to approve the map in writing. Motion Carried. Mr. A.L. Pryor Traffic Safety Engineer of the . Southern Co. Edison, with their Local Represenative Mr. James Dickson was asked to come to the meeting and talk over an arrangement to have the Highway lighted up particularly at Main and D. Streets. Mr. Pryor stated that he would check with the Highway Department so that we may be informed as to what we may do to improve our lighting system as a safeguard against the danger of the present day traffic. Ordinance No. 67 amending Ordinance No. 58 of the City's Ordinance regulation the sanitation and conduct of Camps and Trailors for the City had it's first reading. On the Motion of Councilman Charleton the following Bills presented were orderd paid, Councilman Rawlings furnished the second. Motion Carried. Receipts for Jan. $941.00 Fines $387.50 C. Tores $ 45.93 Permits $ 3.50 Fire call out of City $ 25.00 $1402.23 Chas. E. Morris $8.28 Deihl & Co. 50.00 Carson & Golding 29.97 Union Oil CO. 3.21 James Farrage M.D. 5.00 Fire Dept. 86.50 52 Councilman Rawlings moved for the adjournment the meeting and Councilman Charleton seconded the Motion.
