MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, HELD IN THE CITY HALL
OF TUSTIN ON MONDAY EVENING AT 7 O' CLOCK
SEPTEMBER 17TH 1945.
PRESENT WERE: COUNCILMEN: KIDD, RAWLINGS, PARK
JACOBS AND CHARLETON
ABSENT WERE: COUNCILMEN: NONE
CITY ATTORNEY GEO. E. BRADLEY WAS WAS PRESENT.
THE MINUTES WERE READ TO TO COUNCIL OF THE LAST
MEETING AND WERE ADOPTED ON THE MOTION OF COUNCILMAN CHARLETON
AND SECONDED BY COUNCILMAN PARK. THE MOTION CARRIED.
THERE WERE NO COMMUNICATIONS FOR THE RECORDS.
DISCUSSION WAS HAD RELATIVE TO THE BUILDING, PLU-
MBING AND ELECTRIC INSPECTI0NS. IT WAS DECIDED TO KEEPING THE SANTA
ANA INSPECTORS AS LONG AS THEY WILL SERVE.
DISCUSSION WAS HAD RELATIVE TO THE NOISE MADE BY
TRUCKS ON D STREET AT NIGHT AND THAT ANY PARKING LIMITATION WOULD
HAVE TO BE UNIFORM TO COVER ALL VEHICLES.
THE MAINTANANCE DEPARTMENT OF THE STATE HIGHWAYS
INFORMED THE CITY CLERK THAT AS HELP BECOMES A LITTLE EASIER NOW
THAT THE HIGHWAY WOULD WOULD TAKE OVER THE CLEANING OF THE HIGHWAY
THROUGH THE CITY.
COUNCILMAN RAWLINGS MOVED THAT BEN REYES BE IM-
PLOYED TO REMOVE TWO DEAD WALNUT TREES AT 2ND AND A STREETS FOR
MRS SHATTTO THE COST TO BE $5.00 EACH AND THE CITY TO PAY ONE
HALF THE BILL. COUNCILMAN JAC0BS SECONDED THE MOTION AND THE MOTION
CARRIED.
C0UNCILMAN PARK MOVED THAT THE FOLLOWING BILLS BE PAID

FIRE DEPT. 25.00
Blacksmith 13.25
C..A. VANCE 25.00
COUNCILMAN RAWLINGS MOVED THE ADJOURNMENT OF
THE MEETING. COUNCILMAN CHARLETON SEC0NDED THE MOTION
THE MOTION CARRIED.
