Confirmation on the type of fence to be utilized was only provided to the contractor by the City in November, 1979. The contract completion dates are recapped as follows: Original contract start date ............................... August 3t, 1979 Contract time allowance .................................... 45 calendar days Original contract completion date .......................... October 15, 1979 Additional days granted for pipe delivery .................. 89 calendar days Adjusted contract completion date .......................... January 12, 1980 Current request for time extension ......................... 39 calendar days Adjusted contract completion date .......................... February 23,1980 Recommendation: It is recommended that the Tustin City Council at their meeting of January 21, 1980, authorize a time extension of 39 calendar days to the contract with Gosh Construc- tion Company for improvements at the Sycamore Avenue Pedestrian Crossing.
